Agent in talks with Eastlands outfit and has flown to Argentina to update the attacker, who will decide on his future in the coming days while Atleti eye Osvaldo as a replacement
Roberto Mancini has eyed 'Kun' as a replacement for the outgoing Carlos Tevez, who is keen to leave the club, and a deal appears closer to being signed.

AS reports that Hernan Reguera was in England between Monday and Friday of last week, and says the representative has thrashed out terms that will now be considered by the 23-year-old.

The Spanish daily also relays that the Quilmes-born striker will use the coming days to think over the details before making a decision regarding his future, while Sky Sports News have reported that City will enter into negotiations to sign the Argentine 'in the next 48 hours'.

It is believed that Aguero will not attend Atleti pre-season training on Sunday, with the avoidance of an uncomfortable situation the aim as his time at the Santiago Calderon is seemingly coming to an end.

After handing in a transfer request, the ex-Independiente forward has been subject to transfer speculation all summer long, with the Eastlands outfit one of the main suitors, along with Juventus and Atletico's city rivals Real Madrid.

Atletico have negotiated a deal to sign striker Dan Osvaldo from Espanyol as a replacement for Aguero, according to Marca.
