Italian Serie A will start rolling after a collective contract agreement between players and clubs

This week, Italian Serie A will start rolling after a collective contract agreement between players and clubs. Italian League and the Union of Italian Footballers ensure an end to the boycott of their Italian Serie A after an agreement was reached for the collective contract.

Both sides agreed to sign a collective agreement while the contract. That way, the Italian Serie A surely will roll this weekend.

While the collective contract will expire in June next year. Collective contracts usually run for three years.

"Very valuable to undergo lengthy negotiations with the club can get what they want," declared the Italian League chairman Maurizio Beretta told Ansa.

Thus, Serie A will likely begin this week with last season's champions AC Milan will face Lazio to open the season at the San Siro on Friday.
